there's a new place that just opened on 3rd between La Brea and Fairfax called Hands-On 3rd
Hands-On 3rd is a workshop that offers classes in anything crafty! they do emphasize in sewing, knitting, crochet. they have great workshops that would entice any diy wedding bride. i noted a few classes below:
Fascinator:
"Yes, it's an accoutrement, an accessory! Create a fabulous design to wear in your hair, on a hat, or lately, on your shoes!" $35 members/ $45 nonmembers + material fee of $20
Open Sew:
"Sewing workshop & free tea bar. Come hang out & work on your projects! Bring your machine or use one of ours."
FREE to members/ $15 for non-members
you can also book events there. they have one called "Bride to Bead."
